Community Food Pantries 

"In the wake of COVID-19, The Tunica County Sheriff's Office and Tunica County joined in partnership with North MS Baptist Education Convention, Glover's Grove Baptist Church, the Mid-South Food Bank, MS Fruit & Vegetable Co, LLC and Friends of the Sheriff to ensure people of Tunica County were provided  nutritious food products.

 

Citizens in the community were provided gently-cooked meats, fresh produce, fruits, and dairy during the fight against COVID-19, while the economy was shut down to make sure families have food on their tables during the pandemic".

MS Fruit & Vegetable Co. LLC and Friends of the Sheriff have committed to continue providing nutritious food products, during the Phased - Reopening of the Economy, effective July 1, 2020 - August 31, 2020.
